Morris Moses Foundation Healthcare Givers Awards

The Morris Moses Foundation (MMF) believes strongly in the principle of giving credit where its due and not simply engaging in blame games. MMF has committed to a continuous process of looking for and pinpointing instances where healthcare providers have excelled in their work, upheld compassion in their dealings with patients and stayed true to the ethics of the medical profession.

This will be known as the MMF Healthcare Awards scheme. In this regards, MMF will publish names of individual Doctor, Nurses, Clinicians or any other healthcare provider identified from various parts of the Country and whom patients have attested to upholding these ideals. In addition, the hospitals or clinics where they work will be mentioned in the Awards.

This initiative aims to encourage and reward good performance and ethical conduct among all healthcare givers in the country. We welcome like-minded individuals and organisations to partner with us and help sponsor this Award concept. We believe that all Kenyans will be the winners in the long run.

    Morris Moses Foundation is honored to be the recipient of the spread the love health category award for 2011.
    We receive this award on behalf of the many kenyans who have died in our hospitals due to bad attitudes, negligence and general malpractises by the health providers. We receive this award on behalf of the many Kenyans, medics included, who have joined the cause for quality delivery of services in our hospitals; Kenyans who have spoken out to demand for better services. To the families of the dead, our deep felt condolences and assurance that this battle will be won. For the Kenyans who continue to support this cause, this is your award. For those yet to join this cause we invite you to do so because today its my story, tomorrow it could be your story. If its not safe for one of us, its not safe for any of us!!. Therefore, lets speak out, lets act, lets be silent no more!!!
